Both teams are coming off games last night, but the Warriors had a comfortable win in Memphis while the Hawks were in a dogfight with Phoenix.

Curry played 32+ minutes which is less than his average per game so his usage should be normal tonight in this second night of a back-to-back.

The O/U on this game is 244 which means a ton of possessions for both teams and more opportunities for points and assists.

Curry may have a harder time scoring with the longer defender of DeJounte Murry guarding him but that should open up more opportunities to create scoring chances for teammates.

Curry is averaging 6.3APG over his last ten games and has been over 5.5 in 8 of his last nine games.

The Hawks give up the 5th most APG to PG’s on the season at 9.2APG and when these same two teams squared off a few weeks ago, Curry finished with 8 assists.

The Atlanta Hawks shouldn’t be laying this many points to anyone in the NBA not named the Pistons, Spurs, Wizards or Hornets. This team is lacking effort on the defensive end of the court that is obvious to a casual observer, let alone statisticians. For the season the Hawks rank 27th in defensive efficiency allowing 1.204-points per possession. They just gave up 73-points to Luka Doncic and 148 to the Mavericks as a team. They have allowed 122, 134 and 148 in their last three games. Part of the problem seems to be several trade rumors involving this team which are impacting their on the court chemistry. Atlanta is 8-13 SU at home with a negative differential of minus -3.4PPG.  Toronto made their trade when they shipped Siakam to the Pacers for Bruce Brown who should start for the injured Quickly in this one. The Raptors have lost 4 straight games they came against a hot Bulls team, the Knicks and Clippers. The one bad loss in that stretch was at home to the Grizzlies by 8-points. The Raptors were recently +7.5-points at New York and the Knicks are far superior to this Hawks team. Atlanta was an -8.5-point favorite at home against the 10-36 Spurs and the Raptors rate more than 2.5-points better than San Antonio. These two teams have similar offensive efficiency ratings but the Raptors are much better defensively. Grab the points.

Zubac is coming off a solid 20-point game in the Clippers opener against the Blazers and while we doubt he’ll get to 20 tonight, we do expect him to eclipse 11. Against the Blazer Zubac had 10 field goal attempts with 5 offensive rebounds. The Jazz struggled to defend centers last season allowing the 7th most points to that position at 23.8PPG. Last season the Jazz allowed the 5th most offensive rebounds to opponents which means Zubac should get a few easy put-backs here. We expect another higher scoring game tonight between the Suns and Nuggets. In Game 3 these two teams combined for 235 total points. A big reason was the pace of play. The Suns played much faster with Chris Paul on the bench and Cameron Payne pushing the pace. These two teams combined for 192 field goal attempts which is significantly higher than the league average of 176. Then in Game 4 these two teams produced 253 total points with incredible shooting as both teams hit over 56% from the field. The Nuggets were 5th in offensive efficiency on the season, the Suns were 14th in OEFF. Both teams have averaged nearly 1.180-points per possession in the Playoffs which is 2nd and 3rd in offensive efficiency. Four of the last five meetings between these two teams has resulted in more points than today’s number and we are betting that trend continues.

ASA’s NBA free bet on Milwaukee Bucks Team Total OVER 112.5pts vs. Miami Heat, 7:30PM ET

Milwaukee essentially played without Giannis in Game 1 as he left the game with a back injury just 10-minutes in. The Bucks still managed 117 total points without him. Then in Game 2 the Bucks shot lights-out and put up 138. Milwaukee shot 54% overall and made 25 of 49 3-pointers or 51%. We don’t expect the Bucks to shoot that well again in Game 3 but they won’t have too for them to get to 113.  This team was the 8th highest scoring team in the league this season at 116.9PPG and ranked 10th in offensive efficiency at 1.120PPP. Milwaukee has the 10th best EFG% average in the NBA at 55.5%. This team was built with shooters and is reliant on 3-point shooting. Milwaukee attempts the 4th most 3’s per game in the league, and on average make 36.6% of their attempts. In Game 1 though the Bucks connected on just 11 of 45 3-pointers or 24%. That number is clearly an anomaly as the Bucks typically shoot much better than that AND the Heat don’t defend the Arc well, ranking 19th in the NBA allowing 36.3%. This Milwaukee team is deep and has capable scorers that can put up more than 113 with or without Giannis. Milwaukee has scored more than 113 in four straight games against the Heat and we like them to get there today as our NBA free bet.
