ASA play on OVER 221.5 LA Lakers @ Golden State Warriors, 10PM ET
Hasta la vista Lakers! This roster was put together by LeBron and was destined to fail right from the start. Los Angeles will miss the playoffs and will have to make major moves in the offseason if they expect to compete next season. Was it a coincidence that LeBron sat several games down the stretch against good defensive teams and when his team was in dire need of him to make the playoffs? He needs to play in the final three games to be eligible for the scoring title so I’d be surprised if he doesn’t play here. The Lakers are 12th in scoring at 111.6PPG and 7th in overall FG% offense and if they get to 110 or more this game goes Over. A big reason why will be the points the Warriors put up. Golden State is still playing for a better playoff position, so we know what kind of effort we’ll get from them. The Warriors should score plenty here against a Lakers defense that is 26th in points allowed, 22nd in FG% defense and 16th in defending the 3. The Lakers have allowed 1.230-points per possession in their last five games and 122.9PPG. The Warriors are 10th in both overall FG% and 3PT%. The three meetings this season between these two teams has ended with 240, 232 and 235 total points. More of the same here.
Rickenbach NHL Free Pick Philadelphia +115 @ Columbus @ 7:05 ET – Flyers Martin Jones has allowed 3 or less goal in 6 of his last 8 starts. He is coming off a strong effort against the Rangers. In those 6 solid efforts he has allowed only 2.3 goals per start! Philadelphia has revenge from a home loss to the Blue Jackets Tuesday and I look for them to return the favor here by knocking off the Jackets in Columbus. To me this line looks a little funny with the home team a small favorite. Don’t let the number fool you. Priced this way because the road dog gets revenge against a Blue Jackets team that had lost 7 in a row before beating the Flyers Tuesday. Payback! Free Pick PHILADELPHIA +115
Scott Rickenbach Sunday NHL Free bets OVER 7 in Buffalo Sabres vs Florida Panthers @ 1:05 ET – The Sabres are off an emotional 4-3 win on RJ Night in Buffalo Friday night. 5 of the last 6 Buffalo games have totaled 7 or more goals. That game Friday against the Predators was a 3-3 game by end of the first period! The Sabres will be unable to stop the highest scoring team in the league here. The Panthers got a 7-6 SO win at New Jersey yesterday as they rallied late against the Devils and high-flying Florida enters this game with 20 of their last 27 games having totaled 7 or more goals. More of the same is expected here. NHL Free Pick OVER 7 in Sabres vs. Panthers
Scott Rickenbach or “The Bulldog” NHL Games Today – Pick Vancouver Canucks +140 @ St Louis Blues @ 7:35 ET – Game with a lot of importance in the playoff race and features a pair of struggling teams. However, the big keys here are that the Blues are allowing a too many goals and that is not the case for the Canucks plus the fact that Vancouver is a sizable underdog. Considering those factors, there is plenty of value here on the road dog to make the Canucks worth a look in this one. St Louis is off a 7-2 home loss to Carolina and has lost 5 of 6 games. The Blues have allowed an average of 4 goals last 7 games. Vancouver enter this one off a 4-1 win at Dallas and, though that makes them only 3-6 last 9 games, the Canucks have allowed an average of only 2 goals last 8 games! Big difference between these two teams lately in terms of the goals allowed department! The road dog absolutely worth a look here. NHL Free bets VANCOUVER +140
ASA play on: Minnesota Timberwolves -3 over Dallas Mavericks, 8PM ET

These two teams just met in Dallas the other night with the Mavs winning 110-108 as a 1-point favorite. The natural swing of this line should have the Wolves favored by 5-points here so we’ll grab the value play with Minnesota. The Wolves shot just 40% in that game which is well below their 45.4% season average. Minnesota was just a 2-point home favorite against the Suns but lost their most recent game by 9-points. Dallas has been very good defensively on the season with the 4th best defensive efficiency rating but rank 18th in OEFF. In comparison, the T-Wolves are 6th in OEFF, 11th in DEFF. Minnesota is 24-13 SU at home this season with the 11th best average +/- of +5.4PPG. The last meeting was chippy so expect a revenge minded Timberwolves team to get a big home win here.
