Scott Rickenbach Sunday NHL Free bets OVER 7 in Buffalo Sabres vs Florida Panthers @ 1:05 ET – The Sabres are off an emotional 4-3 win on RJ Night in Buffalo Friday night.  5 of the last 6 Buffalo games have totaled 7 or more goals.  That game Friday against the Predators was a 3-3 game by end of the first period!  The Sabres will be unable to stop the highest scoring team in the league here. The Panthers got a 7-6 SO win at New Jersey yesterday as they rallied late against the Devils and high-flying Florida enters this game with 20 of their last 27 games having totaled 7 or more goals. More of the same is expected here. NHL Free Pick OVER 7 in Sabres vs. Panthers

Scott Rickenbach or “The Bulldog” NHL Games Today – Pick Vancouver Canucks +140 @ St Louis Blues @ 7:35 ET – Game with a lot of importance in the playoff race and features a pair of struggling teams. However, the big keys here are that the Blues are allowing a too many goals and that is not the case for the Canucks plus the fact that Vancouver is a sizable underdog. Considering those factors, there is plenty of value here on the road dog to make the Canucks worth a look in this one. St Louis is off a 7-2 home loss to Carolina and has lost 5 of 6 games. The Blues have allowed an average of 4 goals last 7 games. Vancouver enter this one off a 4-1 win at Dallas and, though that makes them only 3-6 last 9 games, the Canucks have allowed an average of only 2 goals last 8 games! Big difference between these two teams lately in terms of the goals allowed department! The road dog absolutely worth a look here. NHL Free bets VANCOUVER +140

ASA play on: Minnesota Timberwolves -3 over Dallas Mavericks, 8PM ET

ASA’s NBA SEASON HAS BEEN ONE OF THEIR BEST EVER! PLUS OVER 50-NET STARS WON ON THE SEASON WITH A 83-56 RECORD! GET SIGNED UP TODAY!

These two teams just met in Dallas the other night with the Mavs winning 110-108 as a 1-point favorite. The natural swing of this line should have the Wolves favored by 5-points here so we’ll grab the value play with Minnesota. The Wolves shot just 40% in that game which is well below their 45.4% season average. Minnesota was just a 2-point home favorite against the Suns but lost their most recent game by 9-points.  Dallas has been very good defensively on the season with the 4th best defensive efficiency rating but rank 18th in OEFF. In comparison, the T-Wolves are 6th in OEFF, 11th in DEFF. Minnesota is 24-13 SU at home this season with the 11th best average +/- of +5.4PPG. The last meeting was chippy so expect a revenge minded Timberwolves team to get a big home win here.

ASA FREE PLAY ON UNDER 6.5 Dallas Stars at Toronto Maple Leafs, Tuesday at 7 PM ET – These are two high-quality teams but both are off B2B losses.  Coming off consecutive defeats, both these solid hockey clubs know they need to bear down defensively and work hard to get back into the win column.  Look for each club to do a solid job in their own zone and do a much better job of blocking shots and eliminating high-quality scoring chances for the opposition.  With the markets moving the number on this total from a 6 to a 6.5 we have additional line value with the under.  Look for each team to struggle to get past the two-goal mark in this one and we expect a 3-2 final at the most by the time the final horn sounds.  UNDER 6.5 is the play here

ASA CBB FREE PICK on Wisconsin vs Michigan State, Friday at 6:30 PM ET

*This play is contingent on Johnny Davis playing for Wisconsin.*  As of now it looks like he will play but might not be 100% and could be on a minute count.  We are going to make sure he’s in the line up before playing this one.  The Badgers are not the slow paced team that many still make them out to be.  They are ranked 5th in pace in the Big 10 this season.  MSU likes to get up and down the court (129th nationally in pace) as well so we look for this game to have plenty of possessions.  These 2 met twice this year with wildly different results.  In the first meeting MSU won 86-74 (162 total points) and Sparty shot lights out hitting over 50% of their shots.  In round 2 Wisconsin went to Michigan State and won the game 70-62 (132 total points) and the two teams combined to shoot 44% from the field but just 28% from beyond the arc and they still nearly reached tonight’s number of 136.  Both teams excel from the FT line (both make 75%) which lends to a higher scoring game as well.  Wisconsin games have reached at least 135 points in 6 of their last 7 games.  MSU games have reached at least 140 total points in 6 of their last 7 games.  These 2 teams are a combined 36-25-1 to the OVER this season.  We like this one Over the total.
