ASA play on: Portland Trailblazers -11 over Detroit Pistons, 10:10PM ET
The Blazers are desperate for a win after two straight loses but they came against the Clippers and Jazz. In fact, the last four losses for the Blazers have come against four of the best teams in the league (Bucks, Nets) and Detroit isn’t anywhere near that level. The Pistons are 7-21 SU on the road this year with a negative differential of minus -3.9PPG which is 9th worst in the NBA. Detroit is coming off a win over Sacramento where they shot well above their season average. The Pistons and Blazers are near equal defensively, but Portland holds a decisive advantage offensively with the 5th best offensive efficiency rating compared to the Pistons 25th. Portland should make plenty of 3’s here with the 6th best 3-point shooting offensive going up against the Pistons 19th ranked 3-point percentage defense. Detroit is just 4-10-1 ATS off a win this year while Portland 8-3 SU at home off a loss. Portland has won 7 of their last eight at home against similar teams to Detroit. Lay the points.
