ASA FREE PLAY ON: Ball State Cardinals (-) versus Eastern Michigan Eagles, Wednesday at 7:00 PM ET – Ball State faced a Redhawks team last week that played for the MAC Championship last season and the game was at Miami-Ohio and the Cardinals still very nearly pulled off the upset.  The first downs were equal and the Cards actually outgained the Hawks in the game.  That is a case of a loss, both SU and ATS, that leads to value the next week because Ball State is flying under the radar despite an impressive effort.  Now, at home, the Cardinals are poised to come up big against an Eagles team that is among the worst teams in the MAC.  Eastern Michigan managed to rally from a big deficit and get the ATS win in their 4 point loss at Kent State last week but the Eagles were outgained by over 100 yards in that game.  While the Cardinals are very talented and still a threat in the MAC, Eastern Michigan is in full on rebuild mode after the talent they lost from last year’s team.  The result is line value here as the Cards should cruise and win this one by double digits at home in Muncie, IN.  FREE PLAY Ball State (-) points.
