NBA Prop Bet – James Harden – Dec 9th

ASA Players Prop OVER 21.5 POINTS – James Harden – Philadelphia 76ers

Harden is working his way back into shape after being off for a month with an injury. He scored 21-points against the Rockets in his first game back but had a horrendous shooting night going 4 of 19 from the field or 21.1%. Let’s not forget that Harden shoots well over 40% for his career and has averaged 21 or more points per game for 13 seasons. Nobody in the NBA allows more points to PG’s than the Lakers do at 27.6PPG. Even in the last two weeks when they have been playing better, they are still giving up an average of 24.8PPG. Harden will bounce back with a much better shooting game tonight in this marquee matchup with the Lakers.

NBA Free Bet – Dec 8th

ASA has a FREE NBA BET for you December 8th

ASA play on UNDER 227.5 Denver Nuggets at Portland Trailblazers, 10:10PM ET

The Blazers used to be an up-tempo team but that has changed as they rank 28th in the league in possessions per game. Denver also prefers to play as a slower pace as they rank 20th in the NBA at 98.3 possessions per game. The Nuggets are coming off a 231-total point game the other night with the Mavericks, but both teams shot exceptionally well. Combined the two teams attempted just 150 field goals which is significantly lower than the league average of 172 FGA per game. Speaking of field goal attempts per game, the Blazers average 83.8 per game which is 27th in the NBA. The last time these teams met (October) they produced 245 total points, but the Blazers shot an insane 58% from the field and 46% from beyond the arc.

NBA Prop Bets – Weds Dec 7th

ASA Player Prop OVER 26.5 POINTS Anthony Edwards – Minnesota Timberwolves.

Edwards will get plenty of scoring opportunities tonight in what shapes up to be a high scoring game with the Pacers. The Over/Under on tonight’s game is 236.5 total points. Indiana is 20th in defensive efficiency this season and give up an average of 115.9PPG. The Pacers are also one of the worst teams in the league when it comes to shooting guards. Edwards is averaging 23PPG on the season but we should see those numbers trend up with Karl Anthony Towns out of the lineup. Edwards has scored 26 or more points in 4 straight.

ASA Player Prop OVER 6.5 POINTS – Kevon Looney – Golden State Warriors

We almost used this same wager the other night when Golden State faced the Pacers but didn’t because the oddsmakers adjusted Looney’s scoring total too high at 8.5. Tonight, he has a manageable number of 6.5 against the 4th worst team defending Centers in the NBA. The Jazz allow Centers to score over 25PPG on average. Granted Looney isn’t a big-time scoring center, but he does the dirty work and picks up loose rebounds for easy putbacks. He has scored 6 or more points in 5 of their last seven games and should score enough here with this low total.

NBA Player Prop – Jrue Holiday – Milwaukee Bucks

ASA MEGA 32-13 NBA PROP RECORD!

ASA play on: OVER 24.5 POINTS+ASSISTS – Jrue Holiday – Milwaukee Bucks

The Magic are one of the worst teams in the NBA defending PG’s as they allow an average of 25PPG and 9.0APG. Holiday has shot it well in his last two games hitting 55% and 47.4% in his last two games. He also totaled 27 and 37 points+assists in his last two outings. On the season his points+assists average is 25.71. This is a great matchup for Holiday and we expect a stat-stuffing night from Holiday.

ASA play on: OVER 1.5 MADE 3PTS – Jrue Holiday – Milwaukee Bucks

The Magic are one of the worst teams in the NBA defending PG’s as they allow an average of 25PPG and 3.2 made 3-pointers per game. Holiday has made 10 3-pointers in the Bucks last three games and averages 2.18 makes per game this season. Holiday has shot it well the last two games and we see that trend continuing here.

NBA Player Prop bets for Dec 4th

ASA PLAYER PROP OVER 13.5 POINTS – Marvin Bagley III – Detroit Pistons

Bagley is finally starting to live up to his lofty expectations as a NBA Center. Over the last ten games he has averaged 14.3PPG and has scored 13 or more points in seven straight. He is coming off a 13 and 19 point performances against the Mavericks and Knicks and those two teams are two of the best in the league in defending Centers. Today Bagley faces a Grizzlies D that is the 5th worst in points allowed per game to Centers. Bagley’s minutes are up and in a game that should have a lot of possessions he should get plenty of scoring opportunities.

ASA PLAYER PROP OVER 22.5 POINTS – Zach Lavine – Chicago Bulls

This is going to be a high possession scoring game with the 5th and 9th fastest paced teams in the league which means plenty of scoring opportunities for Lavine. He is averaging 20.94PPG on the season but this is a favorable match up considering the Kings allow the 4th most points to Shooting Guards this season. LaVine is shooting just 38.7% on the season but in his last two games he’s connected on 46.7% and 44.4% of his field goal attempts. A solid shooting day today and he goes over this number rather easily.
