ASA’s NASCAR Organics 325 Pocono

NASCAR CUP – Organics 325 Pocono – Saturday, June 27th 3:30PM ET

This weekend NASCAR travels to Pocono, Pennsylvania for a double-header on Saturday and Sunday in what should be a thrilling two days of racing. This 2.5-mile Tri-Oval, nicknamed the “Tricky Triangle” is similar in length and shape to last weekend’s race at Talladega but that is where the similarities end. Unlike the “Dega” the Poconos Raceway is shallow banked and runs more like a road course than a Speedway. Also, unlike last weekend’s race this will not be a restrictor plate setup like the drivers must use on the Super Speedways. The last five winners on this track have been Toyota’s but Chevrolet has dominated by winning 38% of all Cup races at Pocono.

What will make this weekend so interesting is how the crews tweak and adjust their cars from Saturday to Sunday and how they will invert the starting lineups Sunday based on Saturday’s results. All I can say is this, if you have not bet NASCAR before or are not a huge fan you should really try betting on a race and follow it throughout. Last week we benefited from picking the race winner in Ryan Blaney at +1200 along with cashing four on the Top 5 finishers for a huge payday. We have accurately predicted 20 of the Top 5 finishers in the last eight races.

Last weekend we hit our FREE play with Ricky Stenhouse Jr a Top 5 finisher at +375. If you want one free longshot for Saturday, I recommend Erik Jones +1800 in the No. 20 Toyota for Joe Gibbs racing. In six career Cup races here, Jones has 4 Top 5’s with an average finishing position of 8.3. Jones is 10th in total fastest laps run this season and has a 3rd and 2nd place finish in the last two events at the “Tricky Triangle”.
